Join CITI Michigan, along with community partners across the Upper Peninsula, for an introduction to the CIT International Model, conversation, connection, and collaboration! 

 

What: CITI Michigan Regional Meetup: Upper Peninsula 

When: Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 10:00am to 2:00pm 

Where: Northern Michigan University, Northern Center Ballrooms I and II located @ 540 W. Kaye Ave, Marquette, MI 49855 

Who: Law enforcement, community leaders, behavioral health providers, community resources, advocates, and anyone who is excited about building stronger crisis response systems in your community! 

Event Description: Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) International, Michigan is a new state office that supports the development, implementation, and sustainability of CIT Programs across the state. CIT Programs are evidence-based, cross-system partnerships that work to improve community response to mental health crises. We invite you and/or your representative(s) to join us at our first regional networking event in Marquette, Michigan, to learn more about how we can support CIT efforts in your community. Come connect with other law enforcement agencies, mental health providers, community leadership, community-based organizations, and advocates in your region, to discuss ways to improve programs, better collaborate, and strengthen your partnerships. Food and refreshments will be provided. 

Parking: For more information about parking on campus, review this map (linked here). The closest parking lots to the Northern Center are lots 1, 8, and 13 (located on the map).
